(Bullitt Co., KY) - Kentucky Education Commissioner Dr. Wayne Lewis is dropping in on schools across the state.
He was in Bullitt County Thursday to tour Bernheim Middle School, Lebanon Junction Elementary, and the Bullitt County Area Technology Center.
Dr. Lewis said most of the good paying jobs available in the commonwealth don't require a four-year degree and there aren't enough Kentuckians to fill them. He called it a middle-skills gap.
