LOUISVILLE, Ky. - There's a federal warrant out for -- and a reward for the capture of -- a missing armored truck driver who vanished with thousands of dollars in cash last month.
Police say 29-year-old Mark Espinosa and an undisclosed amount of money vanished from outside Jefferson Mall on December 5th. Espinosa was waiting in the Garda armored vehicle while his co-worker made drops inside.
A Federal arrest warrant was issued December 10th for Espinosa.
Police say Espinosa has family in the Northeast and on the West Coast who have been cooperative.
Garda is offering reward of $50,000 and FBI is offering up to $10,000 for information leading to arrest and conviction of Espinosa.
Authorities say Espinosa should be considered armed and dangerous.
