Trinity Tweeter Makes First Court Appearance

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The man whose tweet closed Trinity High School for a day appears in court.

29 year old Thor Wiljanen entered a not guilty plea to a felony charge of second-degree terroristic threatening. That charge stems from a tweet Wiljanen sent under the username "Proud Clarion" writing "If Jeff Brohm doesn't come, we burn down Trinity."

The message caused the high school to call off class Thursday and prompted St. Matthews police to launch an investigation that included LMPD and the FBI.

Wiljanen was released on his own recognizance and has been ordered to have no contact with Trinity or social media.
