TARC Drivers Trained to Identify Human Trafficking

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- TARC bus drivers are being trained to spot human trafficking.

Nearly 400 TARC drivers, dispatchers and managers will be taught to look for signs of trafficking, questions to ask suspected victims and how to report the crime.

The training is led by the attorney general's office, which says TARC employees are the "eyes and ears of the community."

Similar training is offered to Kentucky commercial drivers and truck-stop employees on how to recognize and report human trafficking.
