Boy Struck By Car During UK Football Game Dies

(Lexington, KY) - A four-year-old boy who was struck by a car during a University of Kentucky football game has died.  

University of Kentucky officials say Marco Shemwell died Monday at a hospital.  

The child was hit Saturday while he and his family were waiting to cross Cooper Drive near Scoville Road near Kroger Field.

Eighteen-year-old Jacob Heil was allegedly driving drunk when he hit the boy.  He is a first-year student at the university.
