Rick Pitino Says His Book Is "100 Percent The Truth"

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Rick Pitino takes on the governor and others in his latest book.

The book titled "Pitino: My Story" is equal parts career retrospective and an explanation of what Pitino says really happened in his final seasons at Louisville.

Pitino says the book is "100 percent the truth" and is serving as closure to his coaching career which he admits is over.

He also takes shots at Governor Bevin, who he says had it out for former athletic director Tom Jurich because of how he handled the KFC Yum! Center deal, as well as the U of L Board of Trustees.

Pitino says he's not ruling out coming back to Louisville to visit, calling it a great town, but says he will not be at any U of L games.

Bevin says Pitino's comments are "sad" and make him sound like "a desperate, angry, bitter person who wants to lay blame everywhere but at his own feet."
