(Louisville, KY) - Taxes are going up immediately for homeowners in Oldham County.
The Oldham County board of education voted to approve a 1% rate increase Thursday. The increase is expected to generate an additional $4 million.

The school district says the money will be used for school security officers, buildings, pay increases, and teaching programs.
