LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- LMPD working their second fatal hit and run involving a bicyclist this week.
Police say it happened around 4 Thursday morning in the 8100 block of Westport Road. A witness told officers a white pickup truck was going west on Westport Road when it hit the cyclist who was also going westbound. The driver of the truck did not stop, leaving the cyclist down in the road. That victim, identified only as a white man in his 30's, died at the scene.
This is the second fatal hit and run involving a cyclist this week in Louisville.
