(LOUISVILLE, KY) - Police are investigating after a deadly shooting outside a church in the Parkland neighborhood.
LMPD says a man in his 40s was shot multiple times near Elim Baptist Church Sunday. They say it was a drive-by shooting.

At 1:20 (Sunday) afternoon Second Division officers were dispatched to 32nd and Greenwood on a report of a shooting. They arrived on scene to find a BM / 40s suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Investigators believe the shooting occurred outside and are uncertain if he is a resident of the area. The victim was transported to University Hospital in critical condition and was later pronounced deceased. There are no suspects or arrests at this time and the Homicide Unit is investigating.
