(LOUISVILLE, KY) - The JCPS Board of Education wants to generate an additional $20 million dollars in revenue.
The board has scheduled a public hearing to discuss a proposed property tax rate increase for fiscal year 2018-2019.
If the increase does go through, homeowners would see a rate increase of about three percent as soon as October.
The hearing is scheduled for Tuesday evening at VanHoose Education Center.
