JEFFERSONTOWN, Ky. -- Jeffersontown Police say a man who died after being tased by an officer was armed with a knife.
32-year-old Christopher Roberts fell and hit his head after being tased by police at a hotel on Taylorsville Road last month. He died the next day.
Police Chief Sam Rogers says surveillance video shows a knife in Roberts' hand. He says Roberts ignored commands to drop the knife.
The chief says the results of their investigation will be turned over to commonwealth's attorney.
