ST. LOUIS -- Louisville native Justin Thomas is the defending champion as golf's final major of the season gets underway this week.
The PGA Championship is being held at Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis.
Thomas is paired with Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy in the first round. They'll tee off at 9:23 a.m. (ET) Thursday.
Thomas has fond memories of watching Tiger win the 2000 PGA Championship at Valhalla in Louisville.
