U Of L Has Heat Plan For Taylor Swift Concert

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- U of L hoping to shake off the heat at Saturday night's Taylor Swift concert.

Saturday's forecast high is 94 degrees with heat indices forecast to be in the triple digits. That prompted U of L to line up three cooling buses outside of Papa John's Cardinal Stadium that will open at 3pm to offer fans a break from the heat while giant fans will be situated on the concourses.

The stadium's concessions vendor has shipped in 50,000 bottles of water and over 70,000 pounds of ice. Some of that ice will be distributed in 12 ounce cups fans can fill up at the water fountains around the stadium.

For the fans who do get over heated, additional ambulance crews and equipment will be stationed around the stadium to offer aid as quick as possible.
