J. Bruce Miller Resigns from NBA Group

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- One of the leaders of a group trying to lure an NBA team to Louisville has abruptly resigned from the organization.

Attorney J. Bruce Miller says his resignation from NBA 2 Louisville is due to a co-founder's fraud settlement.

Joe Steier is CEO and president of Signature Health, which recently agreed to pay $30 million to settle charges that the company submitted false claims to the government.

Miller says he can't be in business with someone like Steier.

NBA 2 Louisville, which also includes former NBA player Dan Issel, issued a statement saying "It's full steam ahead" as the group continues to spearhead efforts to land an NBA team.
