Former Kentucky Cop Indicted For Allegedly Threatening The President

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A federal grand jury indicts a former Kentucky cop after he was accused of making threats against President Trump.

A federal grand jury in Nashville handed down the indictment against 37 year old Andrew Ryan of Greenbrier, Tennessee for two online threats he made against the president before a late May visit to Nashville. Ryan, a former Bowling Green police officer, posted on Facebook "Death is coming" before taking to Twitter to write "I will kill Donald Trump if you don't follow my leaders lead."

Ryan was on law enforcement's radar three months before the rally when his family expressed a fear for their own safety and Ryan's "declining mental state."

If convicted, Ryan could spend up to ten years in prison.
