Pitino: NCAA Decision "Unjust"

NEW YORK -- Former Louisville basketball coach Rick Pitino says the NCAA's decision to uphold sanctions against the school is "unjust."

Speaking from his attorney's office in New York, Pitino told reporters the "NCAA cannot rewrite history by taking a banner down."     He's urging the university to fight the sanctions in court.

Pitino appeared to choke up when asked if he's had discussions with anyone about returning to coaching.   He says he has not.

Pitino is suing the University of Louisville for breach-of-contract.
