NEW ALBANY, Ind. -- A southern Indiana prosecutor is urging parents not to overreact to social media threats against schools.
Floyd County Prosecutor Keith Henderson spoke to reporters following the arrests of two teenagers accused of posting on-line threats against schools in Floyd and Clark counties.
Henderson says it's understandable that parents are worried about the threats. However, he's urging parents to send their children to school, saying there are protocols in place to protect the students in the event of a social media threat.
The 15- and 16-year-old suspects are facing felony intimidation charges.
