LOUISVILLE, Ky -- Guns and gun violence, a heated subject that is set for discussion Sunday at a local church. Guns and Gun Violence: What Can We Do? is the topic of discussion Sunday at 6:30 p.m. at Springdale Presbyterian Church on Brownsboro Rd.
Church member Mark Hebert says the panel discussion includes a gun store owner, a retired LMPD officer, a man whose daughter was killed by gun violence, and a representative of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense.
Hebert says the hope is for an open discussion on this volatile issue to spark change in the wake of recent school and other shootings in Kentucky and across America.
The discussion is open to the general public.
