SEYMOUR, Ind. -- A fiery crash involving a truck hauling chemicals closed Interstate 65 in southern Indiana for more than 10 hours Wednesday.
It happened in Jackson County, about 40 miles north of Louisville.
State police say three semi trucks crashed in the southbound lanes. One truck was carrying hazardous matierals that spilled and caught fire.
One person was injured in the crash. Some nearby homes were evacauted as a precaution.
The fire was so hot that it melted the interstate pavement.
