PGA Championship Returns To Valhalla In 2024

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- One of golf's biggest events is coming to Louisville for a fourth time.

The PGA announcing the 2024 PGA Championship will be played at Valhalla Golf Club, making the course only the third to host the Championship four times.

PGA President Paul Levy says the announcement caps two years of talks to bring the event back to Louisville for the first time since 2014.

The event will be played in May instead of the August date of past events to accommodate golf in the Summer Olympics.

Levy says exact dates for the tournament haven't been determined but they are looking at the third or fourth weekend of May.

The PGA also announced the 2018 Boys Junior PGA Championship will be at Valhalla July 31 through August 3.
