McConnell: Moore Should Drop Out of Race

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is calling on GOP Senate candidate Roy Moore of Alabama to drop out of the race in light of sexual misconduct allegations.

McConnell becomes the highest-ranking Republican to speak out against Moore, who is accused of having sexual contact with a 14-year-old girl decades ago.

McConnell says he believes the women who were quoted in a Washington Post story about Moore's past relationships with them.

Moore says it's McConnell who should quit.     Moore tweeted that McConnell has failed conservatives and must be preplaced -- (hashtag) DrainTheSwamp.
