LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A truck driver is charged with DUI after a fiery crash that shut down Interstate 65 in downtown Louisville.
Police say 59-year-old Brad Vandeventer, of Michigan, lost control of his semi near Hospital Curve. The truck flipped and then burst into flames.
The interstate was shut down for several hours.
Vandeventer's blood alcohol level was .06. For commercial truck drivers, .04 is considered under the influence.
Vandeventer was taken to jail. His bond was set at $10,000.
