LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The Metro Council advisory panel working to decide whether Councilman Dan Johnson will keep his seat on the council has hit another setback.
The three-person panel was supposed to meet Tuesday afternoon to determine if Johnson violated terms of an agreement. Two of the three panel members discussed with lawyers from the County Attorney's Office to figure out if the meeting to discuss Johnson's future on the council is legal. The agreement says one member will be appointed by Johnson, one will be appointed by council president David Yates and a third will be appointed by the charging committee. Johnson signed an agreement last week to avoid having a trial over sexual harassment allegations and councilwoman Angela Leet is alleging Johnson already violated that agreement.
No action was taken Tuesday. The next meeting is scheduled for Monday.--
