LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- An apartment in southwest Louisville is the scene of the city's latest homicide.
LMPD says they got the call around 6:30 Tuesday night, arriving to find 25 year old Leroy Johnson shot dead in the hallway of an apartment complex in the 3100 block of Fordhaven Road.
Witnesses tell police they heard two shots before seeing a someone they believe to be the shooter flee the scene.
This is Louisville's third homicide in as many days and rises the total for the year to 96.
