LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- David Padgett says some normalcy is returning to the Louisville basketball team.
Padgett spoke to reporters just days after being named acting coach in the wake of the federal bribery investigation.
He admits it's "tough" coaching the team by himself. His two assistants, Jordan Fair and Kenny Johnson, are not coaching because of the investigation.
The acting athletics director is in his first full day on the job. Vince Tyra has met with coaches and staff of an athletics department that was rocked by the federal bribery investigation. He says the meeting with the coaches "went terrific."
