Gin Fest: A First for Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky  --  Its a first, and it happens this Saturday at Copper and Kings in Butchertown.  The company known for its American brandy, is hosting "Supersonic: The Kentucky Craft Gin Festival."

Copper and Kings Owner Joe Heron says its called "Supersonic" because Kentucky distilled gin is growing and tastes for gin are expanding.  Three tasting tables will be set up for people to sample the product of small batch distillers in the state.  Cosair Distillers from Bowling Green, New Riff from Newport, and Copper and Kings will take part.

The entry to the event is free and it runs from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
