LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A repeat drunk driver is asking the court for leniency.
34 year old John Przybylek is arguing for shock probation after pleading guilty to his ninth DUI earlier this year.
Speaking to the court Przybylek expressed remorse and acknowledged the consequences of his actions before his wife made a plea for his release, mentioning that her brother had been killed in a DUI crash.
The Commonwealth's Attorney opposes the release, calling Przybylek "one of the reasons that other families suffer on a regular basis."
The judge took the matter under advisement and is expect to rule in the next week.
