LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A heavyweight title is on the line at Freedom Hall's first boxing event since 2004.
The ten fight card put on by Evander Holyfield's Real Deal Sports and Entertainment is being billed as a catalyst in the return of boxing in Louisville and across the country. The main event will be a ten round bout between Derric Rossy and Carlos Negron for the WBC Continental Americas Heavyweight Championship.
On the undercard will be Louisville's Carlos Dixon, making his pro debut against Indianapolis' Deangelo Huggins in a four round junior lightweight contest.
The event starts at 7 Saturday night with the final four fights of the night set to be televised nationally on the CBS Sports Network.
