LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A man gunned down in the Taylor-Berry neighborhood is Louisville's latest homicide.
LMPD got the call of shots fired in the 3200 block of Thornberry Avenue in the Arcadia Apartments to find a man down in a parking lot.
LMPD spokesman Lamont Washington says the 27 year old man was shot multiple times and died at the scene.
A woman visiting a friend at the complex heard what she thought were several fireworks going off as she was getting ready to walk to her car which was just yards from the body.
Washington says they have no suspects but hope people in surrounding buildings saw something that could break the case.
LMPD has now worked 61 homicides this year.
