LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The Louisville Cardinals advance to the NCAA baseball Super Regional and a possible matchup with in-state rival Kentucky.
UofL advanced to its fifth straight Super Regional with a 8-7 win over Xavier at Jim Patterson Stadium.
The Cardinals will host the winner of tonight's game between Kentucky and North Carolina State.
The Wildcats won twice on Sunday to force a final game at Cliff Hagan Stadium.
The Super Regional is this weekend in Louisville.
