Corrections Officers Have No Confidence In Jail Director

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The overwhelming majority of Metro Corrections Union members do not have confidence in their leader.

Eighty-seven percent of Louisville Metro Corrections Union members say they have no confidence in Director Mark Bolton. Even more, ninety-three percent of the nearly 560 members who voted say they do not think they're adequately staffed to manage the working environment at Metro Corrections. Bolton has been under fire recently for problems with overcrowding and several complaints that inmates were being improperly held and released against what their sentences called for.
