LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A Memorial Day homicide at Water Front Park may have been gang-related.
It happened after a pool party that started in Old Louisville migrated to the Big Four Bridge. Shots were fired at around 9:30 p.m. within eyesight of about 20 officers.
One person was killed and two more were injured. About a half an hour and half a mile away, another shooting happened, injuring one more person.
LMPD Chief Steve Conrad says while they're still investigating, they believe the first shooting was a "gang-involved homicide."
