LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Google Fiber is coming to Louisville.
Mayor Fischer announced on Facebook that the company will soon begin construction of an ultra-high speed internet network in the city.
Fischer says Google Fiber expects to soon file its first permit to build the network. Construction will be done in phases.
Google Fiber will release details of its service in Louisville at a later date.
