Louisville's Deadliest Night Of 2017 Sees Four Killed In Six Hours

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- LMPD records its deadliest night of the year, working four homicides in six hours.

The first was called in just after 10 p.m. Thursday night where officers found a man in a car in the 4100 block of Wilmoth Avenue who had been shot in the head.

Five hours later, officers were in the 100 block of East Kingston Avenue where two people had been shot at different locations at the Heritage Green Apartments. Police says those shootings are believed to be related.

While detectives were working that scene, a woman was fatally shot in the 7000 block of Dale Road.

LMPD spokeswoman Alicia Smiley says they are talking with several people about the Dale Road shooting but have no suspects in the other shootings.
