LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Restoration work is underway on a downtown Louisville landmark.
Scaffolding surrounds the 30-foot sculpture of Michelango's David that stands outside 21c Museum and Hotel on West Main Street.
Museum curator Alice Gray Stites says they're repairing surface cracks and giving David a good cleaning.
The sculpture was installed in 2012.
The restoration work will be completed by the end of the month.
