LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- LMPD is trying to sort out the details from a deadly Sunday.
The first homicide was in the 900 block of East St. Catherine where a man was found dead as the result of "some sort of trauma." Police say he'd been there about 24 hours before he was found.
The second scene was at 39th and Jewell where officers found a black male in his 20's who was lying dead in the intersection.
Lt. Emily McKinley says no arrests have been made in either case but investigators are actively working leads.
The two homicides bring Louisville's total for the year to 14, two more than the same time last year.
