LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The 32-year-old man shot and killed by Louisville Police late Saturday has been identified. Police investigating a robbery at a vacant home near Churchill Downs found William A. Young, Jr. inside. LMPD claims Young attacked an officer. That officer suffered a chest injury and was shot in the hand. Young was then shot multiple times by other officers. The injured officer is expected to recover. Body camera footage could be released on Monday.
