1 Year Later, Adair County Deadly Explosion Still Undetermined

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- It was one year ago that an explosion and fire killed four people inside a Kentucky home.

State police are still searching for the cause of the blast that destroyed the home near Columbia in Adair County on January 26, 2016.

Two bodies were found inside the rubble, two bodies outside.    They were 60-year-old Mitchell Coomer; his 52-year-old wife, Lori; their 1-year-old granddaughter Kinley; and 32-year-old Steven Keltner.

Mitchell Coomer's son was in the basement and survived the explosion.
