(Bowling Green, KY) -- Western Kentucky University is nearing a decision on its next president. University of Kansas Vice Chancellor of Public Affairs Dr. Tim Caboni is the preferred candidate of the Board of Regents. Public forums for staff, students, and faculty with Caboni are Thursday. The Board of Regents will vote Friday on whether to extend an offer. Caboni has a master's degree from WKU. His doctorate is from Vanderbilt. He would be the 10th president of WKU
