New Albany Murder Suspect Identified

NEW ALBANY, In. -- Authorities are searching for an alleged killer who is armed and dangerous and may be in Louisville.

Deante Williams, also known as Deante Baker, is accused of killing 20-year-old Richard Cozart Jr. in Floyd County's first homicide of the year.

Police say the men got into a fight over drugs or money when Williams shot at Cozart's car, hitting him.

Cozart was dropped off at Baptist Floyd Hospital by other passengers in his car. They then drove off.

The U.S. Marshals are working with local law enforcement to find Williams.
