Bevin, Beshear Spar Over Abortion Bill

FRANKFORT, Ky. -- Gov. Matt Bevin and Attorney General Andy Beshear trade shots over a court filing.

In a Facebook Live video, Bevin alleges Beshear has backed out of defending House Bill 2, otherwise known as the ultrasound bill.  Bevin claims Beshear filed with the court that he had no position on the bill before going on to call him "dishonorable" accused him of not doing his job.

In a statement, Beshear fired back that Bevin is providing "alternative facts" and that his office is "actively defending agencies sued over House Bill 2" and is working to get the entire case dismissed. Beshear says if the governor has any further questions he should "walk across the hall and ask to meet with me and not hide behind Facebook."
