(Louisville, KY) - A state lawmaker is filing a bill to crackdown on bail groups.

Republican Representative Jason Nemes had filed HB 313 prior to a group organized by Black Lives Matter Louisville bailing Quintez Brown out of jail on Wednesday.  Brown is accused of attempted murder for allegedly trying to shoot Louisville mayoral candidate Craig Greenberg in his campaign headquarters on Monday.

Nemes says he'll now change the bill to regulate the groups more tightly, preventing them from posting bonds for some offenses and dollar amounts, as well as requiring them to disclose their donors and who they're bailing out.
