(Louisville, KY) - There's been another inmate death at Louisville Metro Corrections, making the sixth since November.
Authorities say a corrections officer was making rounds early Sunday morning and discovered a 36-year-old inmate who attempted to hang himself. He died about an hour later after being transported to an area hospital.
Corrections officials say the inmate was booked last week on felony non-support charges.
