(Frankfort, KY) - Governor Andy Beshear is calling for Kentucky residents to remain calm about the Omicron variant despite a second case being recorded in the U.S.
Beshear says almost all of the commonwealth's new cases of COVID are attributed to the delta variant.
The governor says the best course of action is still getting vaccinated against COVID. He says 60-percent of all Kentuckians have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
