Over 3,500 New COVID-19 Cases Reported In Kentucky Wednesday

(Frankfort, KY) - Kentucky is reporting over 3,500 new COVID-19 cases. 

Governor Andy Beshear announced the new cases of the virus Wednesday, along with nine additional deaths.

More than 1,600 people in the commonwealth are hospitalized for COVID-19-related illnesses, with nearly 230 on ventilators. 

Over 525,000 Kentuckians have tested positive for the virus and more than 7,400 have died since the pandemic began.
