(Louisville, KY) - Kentucky State Fair officials are clarifying the masking and youth attendance policies for the event.
The fair board says it will be sticking with its previously announced policy of requiring masks indoors. Masks will not be required outdoors.
Fairgoers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The youth attendance policy was put into place in 2019 after an incident where unaccompanied teens created panic after setting off fireworks at that year's event.
