(Louisville, KY) - The Louisville Metro Police Foundation is asking for help supporting the family of a Jefferson County Sheriff's deputy murdered in a targeted ambush.
Brandon Shirley was working security off-duty at a used car lot in Shively when he was shot inside his vehicle early Thursday morning.
The foundation is gathering donations to help pay for the 26-year-old's burial and other expenses facing Deputy Shirley's family.
