(Louisville, KY) - The only Louisville Metro Police detective charged in the deadly raid on Breonna Taylor's home wants his bail money back.

Brett Hankison's lawyer filed a motion in a Jefferson Circuit Court Tuesday asking that the cash bond of $15,000 be reduced to personal recognizance.

Stew Mathews says Hankison is having trouble covering his living expenses due to being unable to find a job.

Hankison is charged with wanton endangerment for firing into a neighboring apartment during the deadly raid in March of last year.
