(Louisville, KY) - Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer says his city will cooperate with a Justice Department investigation into the town's police department.
Fischer says the city stands "ready to assist" in the DOJ's patterns and practices investigation into the Louisville Metro Police Department.
Attorney General Merrick Garland said the probe will look into whether unreasonable force is used, among other things.
The probe comes more than a year after the death of Breonna Taylor, a Black woman who died after a police raid on her apartment.
