(Louisville, KY) - A horse trained by a Louisville-native is dropping out of the Kentucky Derby.
Trainer Brad Cox says Caddo River won't run in the Derby after spiking a fever on Saturday.
The colt was the runner-up to Super Stock during the Arkansas Derby earlier this month.
Cox also trains likely-Derby favorite Essential Quality and Risen Star winner Mandaloun.
